About
Father, founder, investor and advisor.
I started my career in IBM's consulting leadership program in New York and quickly learned big companies weren't for me. In 2011, I joined Uber as employee #33 to launch Boston.
There, I launched and scaled Uber Black, TAXI, SUV and uberX, and led the Operations & Logistics Analytics and Process teams through hypergrowth. In 2013, I launched a second marketplace, Uber Vehicle Solutions, across the East Coast and Midwest. I negotiated driver-partner offerings with auto lenders, rental companies, dealerships and manufacturers, and reported to the CFO.
I've been angel investing since 2016, and after my time at Uber, I began advising companies in 2018. My wife and I welcomed our first son in 2019 and our second in 2021. After a health issue, I co-founded SunDay Drinks in 2025, a direct-to-consumer non-alcoholic beverage brand.
My thesis hasn't changed much: B2B software, marketplaces, AI and robotics. What has sharpened is that I now look for AI software powering a real-world product or operation.
I split my time between Portsmouth, NH, and Boston, and invest alongside several Uber alumni syndicates.
